Gund Gallery at Kenyon College - Promotional Work as A/V Associate Team Lead

In 2015 I joined the team at Gund Gallery, a fine art gallery in Gambier, OH serving the Kenyon Community.

The Gallery Associate Program is a unique paid educational opportunity that gives students at Kenyon a chance to work in a fine arts setting while attending college. Gund Gallery hosts regular visits, lectures, and exhibition openings with various artists and cultural figures. In my first year as an associate, I was an active member of the Promotions Team, working part-time on marketing and promotions for the gallery and its many exhibitions and other happenings. I worked on editing the gallery website, promoting events on Facebook and Instagram, and assisting with video production.

As a college senior, I was promoted to Audio/Visual Team Leader, and led a small team of student associates in the production of video content.

My team and I interviewed various artists and guest speakers, including:

  • Raphael Lozano-Hemmer, Visual Artist

  • Rania Matar, Photographer

  • Carol McKusker, Curator

In the spring of 2017 I also spearheaded an ambitious end-of-year project, documenting the creative process and artwork of 17 senior Studio Art majors before their final exhibition at the Gund Gallery in May 2017.
